Artist Bio

Jon Adam Green is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose songs provide raw vignettes of extraordinary emotional reckoning in the context of ordinary life. He released his debut EP, Threesome, in 2021.

After several years of playing in punk bands, such as Atlanta-based Cory and the Oysters, and a brief stint as the bassist in a power metal quartet, the Fantasy Metal Band, Green spent over a decade working as a freelance writer. He also spent two and a half years living and/or vagabonding through South America.

"I never was much of a songwriter until I'd lived awhile," he explains. "But the vicissitudes of life eventually made it impossible for me not to write these songs. I think becoming a father played a big role in that, even when fatherhood isn't my subject matter."

In Green's lyrics, you'll hear stories, many of them true, of thieves, addicts, murderers, mourners, lovers, and people forging their way through life's struggles. A mashup of folk, indie, alternative, and country sounds, Green's music receives praise for its raw emotion, biting cynicism, and instructive messaging.
